Believe me when I say that returning to my writing roots in 2026 was definitely not on my bucket list.
A fun fact about me is that before I discovered my love for fashion, I wanted to become a famous writer. So, while this may give off Wattpad nostalgia at best, I'd be lying if I said it didn't also give me cringy Wattpad flashbacks at worst (if you know, you know). All I'm going to say is… apologies if my writing skills seem a little rusty. I quite literally haven't done this in years.
The reason I started this blog is because building a brand (especially one inspired by an era that lies more than 15 years in the past) isn't just about creating a “vibe.” I think I can speak for everyone reading this -yes, including you- when I say that we're not trying to recreate the 2000s. We're simply trying to see what it feels like to live in a timeline we all wish we'd experienced.
One where self-expression through big, colorful belts, big hoop earrings, and loud animal prints had no bounds. An era where you could basically throw on what felt like anything and wouldn't immediately be flamed online.
The Heartbreaker halter top is supposed to embody a bit of that. And yes, I'll admit, she's definitely one of those “either you like her or you don't” type of pieces. But in my opinion, Maxwell. debuting with something loud and colorful that hasn't quite been done or seen in its shape and form yet was important. A top to set the standard for what is to come.
In this blog, we'll keep you guys posted and updated on how the brand is doing and what's going on behind the scenes. I can't guarantee that there will be a regular posting schedule, but I will definitely try to put out something new every week. There is something about "every thursday evening" that sounds very appealing to me.
